Gems are the currency called Diamonds in Pet Simulator 99. You can earn them through gameplay or by selling pets and items to other players. The useful method for you depends on your progress, pets, spare items and time.
What are diamonds used for?
Diamonds are separate from world coins and event currencies. Players use them to trade for pets and items, including enchants. Before saving for a purchase, check the actual diamond price and the exact pet or item variant. A listing is an asking price, and a sale is not guaranteed.
Start with breakables and your pet team
Look for diamond breakables in areas you have unlocked. Use a team that can clear the area consistently, collect the drops and compare your diamond balance before and after a session.
Read the descriptions of your Diamond enchants and boosts before spending gems to improve a farming setup. Progression, pet strength and the boosts you own affect what is practical. Compare the cost of an upgrade with the extra gems you actually collect; there is no fixed hourly yield or single loadout that suits every account.
Sell spare pets and items in the Trading Plaza
Once you can access the Plaza, review spare tradable items and compare matching listings before choosing a price. Check the in-game portal for your account’s unlock requirement. Use a booth or an available auction option for eligible items, and review the sale rules shown in the game.
Selling existing drops lets you turn items you do not need into gems. Buying items to resell adds risk: prices can fall and a buyer may never arrive. Keep pets and equipment you need for progression, and check the final trade contents before accepting.
Use Diamond Seeds when the Garden is available
If you have access to a Garden that accepts Diamond Seeds, check its planting and harvest instructions. Plant suitable seeds, wait for them to grow and collect the harvest when it is ready.
This requires seeds, access and waiting time. Read the current Garden interface for growth and reward rules. Compare the value of using a seed with selling it rather than assuming an older payout still applies.
Consider Exclusive Daycare if you already own eligible pets
Exclusive Daycare offers diamond rewards for eligible pets. Check its current enrollment screen for the pets it accepts, enrollment duration and claim rules before committing a pet.
Eligible pets are a prerequisite, so this is not a starting method for an account without them. Consider whether you still need a pet for your active team. Buying an expensive pet solely for an assumed daycare return may not recover its cost.
Treat events as temporary opportunities
Event currencies, bonuses and rewards can change or disappear when an event ends. Check the active event’s rules and whether its rewards are tradable before planning around a resale. Earning event currency does not necessarily increase your diamond balance, and a temporary bonus is not a permanent farming rate.
Compare earning with buying
If you decide to purchase, review current PS99 gem prices and stock. Melik’s Store sells gems in billions: 1B = 1,000,000,000 gems, with a 1B minimum. The live interface shows the quantity and USD total; cryptocurrency provider and network fees are separate.
After payment verification, confirm the Roblox username receiving the gems. Delivery is through the in-game Mailbox, and the order page shows progress. See delivery help before confirming a recipient.
Requirements and rewards can change. Check the current in-game instructions before spending gems or enrolling pets. Your results depend on your account and the method you use.
